Our Restaurant

Welcome to Lilys @ Hornsea, serving traditional fish & chips cooked in beef dripping, which adds to the taste and flavour of our food.

We offer takeaway and table service in our small restaurant , certain area available for dog friendly diners, bookings are taken
but sadly not in busy school holiday periods. We offer telephone collection ordering service there's a wide selection on our menu.

Lily's was opened in December 2021 after being closed down by deep blue restaurants, I had previously been there manager
and fryer for them and Harpers Hornsea since the shop was built some years ago, now run by myself Jayne and husband Martin Green,
we have lived locally for 12 years now.

My aim when we took over was to build its reputation back up for quality and good value fish and chips ,so I decided as we grew
along with my team as its very much family my daughter, granddaughter, sister and previous staff we entered the fry magazine award
and won a place in the top 50 best fish and chip takeaways, we were so proud.

Excellent Fish And Chips

My wife and I came to Hornsea today for fish and chips.
We were recommended to try Lily’s and were not disappointed.
The meals were excellent. The fish had a crispy batter.
The chips were real and the mushy peas excellent.

The cafe is dog friendly, and quite a few people took advantage
of being able to sit and enjoy their food in comfort.

Fishtastic

We have a caravan in Hornsea, so have fish and chips from Lilly’s every week,
my treat, can honestly say we have never had bad fish and chips, always spot on.

Very enjoyable fish and chips

We really enjoyed our visit to this chippy.

We ate in and were each served a lovely piece of haddock with very nice batter.
The chips were prefect too and the prices were reasonable.

Would definitely come again!

Best in Hornsea

We always go to Lilly’s for our fish and chips always perfectly cooked and tasty.

The fish is cooked to order and very large portions the chips are always delicious hot
and not greasy like many other chippys.

If you’re in Hornsea Lilly’s is the only place to go for your fish and chips.

Great fish and chips

Was there Tuesday what top fish and chips done in beef dripping
which is the best way the fish great size and very fresh.
